“Nothing I do is separate from others, all of it is a conversation.”
Rythea Lee is a professional dancer and multi-disciplinary artist giving voice to personal and shared stories of healing. As a performer and director, she produces performances that balance intensity with humor, highly physical dance with spoken word, and social commentary with personal story. Her music is a central part of her most recent show and is featured on her CD, Something Knows You.
Rythea Lee is a counselor with a private practice in Northampton, MA and also counsels people all over the country through phone sessions. She is a trauma specialist, has her Masters in Spiritual Psychology and is certified as an InnerBonding® counselor. Her book,”Trauma into Truth: Gutsy Healing and Why It’s Worth It” includes original artwork and is a resource for those on the healing path.
Rythea Lee has a great passion for teaching and assisting others to become more creative, expressive, emotionally intelligent, and connected to life. She is currently teaching courses on Peer Counseling, a practice of peer to peer emotional support.
Her newest project is the making of a 20-Episode youtube advice show that can be described as interactive healing through humor called Advice From a Loving Bitch. Rythea just released the Advice from a Loving Bitch Curriculum for individuals and groups who need a manual to go with the free video content.
Rythea’s blog, Gutsy Healing: Reflections on Motherhood, Art, and Consciousness is a fantastic and fun way to be connected with Rythea through her writing, more personal videos and photos, and links to articles on Inner Bonding®, Peer Counseling, and other materials on healing.
Rythea is a non-coercive, unschooling/homeschooling Mom to an 8 year old. This path is way off the mainstream one of authoritarian parenting and education. Scroll down on this page for more info and links this journey.

Non-Coercive Parenting:

One of my main teachers and mentors in the non-coercive mindset is Vivek Patel and we have also become collaborators. Below are links to our most recent podcast and an article I wrote on the subject, and here are some other resources for you if this sparks curiosity in you.
